Outwrite narrowly missed out on a prestigious industry award at the PRmoment.com awards,

The digital PR agency was shortlisted for best-integrated communications campaign for its work with Jackson Fire & Security, which won gold at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Wales Cymru Awards 2016.

Outwrite lost out to stellar competition, as Aldi’s Christmas ‘Kevin the carrot’ campaign was named the winner.

Kevin the carrot was Aldi’s flagship festive advert for 2016, featuring a carrot’s adventures in the run up to Christmas day.

 

The awards celebrate PR campaigns from agencies and in-house comms teams in the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland. They took place in Manchester.

Digital director Anthony Bullick and PR and digital marketing assistant Will Catterall attended the event, and enjoyed the night in the knowledge Outwrite was in illustrious company.

Anthony said: “We of course wanted to win, but it’s a brilliant achievement to be shortlisted alongside national campaigns like the Aldi Christmas advert.

“Having our work for Jackson Fire & Security contending for an award against a national Christmas advert goes to show how successful the campaign was.

“This is the fourth PR award shortlist Outwrite has had in under a year which is a fantastic achievement for our whole team.”
