Anthony was born and bred in Nottingham and moved to North Wales in April 2012 to join Outwrite.
He studied media and sports journalism at the University of Huddersfield and went on to gain an NCTJ certificate in newspaper journalism. More recently, he passed the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) advanced certificate in public relations.
Anthony is also a CIPR accredited practitioner and a Daily Post columnist. He was shortlisted for two industry awards in 2015. In addition he regularly delivers educational digital PR and SEO (search engine optimisation) workshops to businesses seeking to up-skill their in-house personnel.
Prior to joining Outwrite, Anthony managed internal communications at a finance company as well as volunteering as the media and PR manager for rugby league club Nottingham Outlaws.
He continues to enjoy using his skills in a voluntary capacity and took on the role as a social media journalist at the Rugby League World Cup in 2013. Anthony also manages the social media accounts for the official UK fan club of a professional NFL (American football) team.
Outside work, Anthony is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing and watching a range of sports including football and the NFL.
