Outwrite’s digital director Anthony Bullick is set to deliver a talk at the University of Chester.

Anthony has been invited to speak to the university‘s first year marketing students about integrated PR.

Integrated PR is the use of traditional media relations with search engine optimisation (SEO) and digital content, and its use is fast becoming common in the marketing industry.

As Outwrite’s digital director, Anthony leads all of Outwrite’s integrated PR campaigns including its award-winning work for Jackson Fire & Security.

The talk is for students who are preparing for an assessment on the current issues and challenges of marketing faced by organisations today. Anthony’s invitation follows recent presentations on PR at the North Wales & Cheshire Law Society and Manchester Metropolitan University.

He said: “This is a brilliant chance to talk about integrated PR with up and coming marketers.

“Integrated PR is now recognised as one of the best ways to achieve results in PR and marketing, so it’s vital those coming into the industry know about it.

“As the talk is in preparation for the student’s assessment I’ll be looking to make it interactive and ensure they take away valuable information.”

Anthony regularly delivers talks about the PR industry in the North West. During 2016 he spoke about PR in Manchester, Chester and Wales.

In February 2017 he was used as part of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ membership recruitment campaign.

He has also spoken about the benefits of the CIPR, as well as about life at a PR agency, in Manchester, at MMU.

Anthony was shortlisted for two industry awards in 2015 and became a chartered PR practitioner last year.

He writes a four-weekly column for the Daily Post business section, as well as provides expert commentary for a number of publications including Wales Business Insider and the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly business magazine.
