More dates have been added to a programme of free digital PR workshops delivered by Outwrite, after initial sessions were fully-booked within hours of going online.

Extra workshops, which are held on behalf of Business Wales, have been added in Swansea, Caerphilly, Bridgend, and Cwmbran.

Outwrite’s head of digital Anthony Bullick, who is also the agency’s lead digital trainer, has been delivering interactive workshops across Wales since September. Originally piloted in North Wales in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Gwynydd and Flintshire, the successful PR workshops were extended to Caerphilly with the additional South Wales locations now added.

The seminars tell attendees how to increase their company’s profile off- and online. Topics include how to draft and issue press releases, integrate social media marketing, and achieve SEO (search engine optimisation) benefits from your PR activity.

Anthony will also share advice from his time spent writing for the Nottingham Evening Post, operating as a social media journalist at the Rugby League World Cup and his role at Mold-based Outwrite.

Anthony said: “The workshops are proving to be very popular with businesses seeking to position themselves as an expert in their industry.

“We cover how PR helps to achieve this and how to further manage your reputation online with social media and PR for SEO.

“The sessions are very practical and allow attendees to go back to the office ready to begin liaising with the media and creating a buzz online with their news.”
