A Mold-based food PR agency is to carry out trade media relations for a leading data company in the food industry.
Outwrite has been appointed by Erudus, which provides food wholesalers and caterers with nutritional and microbiological information, after running a successful campaign to announce a major partnership involving the firm.
The Outwrite team produced a press release on Erudus’ joint venture with Nielsen Brandbank, which will increase the amount of information on allergens in food products throughout the industry.
Thanks to Outwrite’s work, the news of Erudus’ partnership spread throughout the industry with key print and online media using the story, including specialist trade publications.
And the editorial was noticed by some of the food wholesale market’s biggest names, which have since contacted Erudus to find out about their service.
Erudus is the latest new client in the sector for the agency, which is building a reputation as a food service PR specialist. Its existing clients include Fairway Foodservice, a 20-member wholesale buying group.
Jon Shayler, chief operating officer of Erudus, said: “The results from Outwrite’s work on our partnership announcement were outstanding, so we were eager to continue working with them.
“The media coverage achieved caused a real stir in the industry and has led to an upturn in companies asking for demonstrations and presentations of our product.
“We’re looking forward to securing regular coverage and using Outwrite’s content and story-telling expertise to position Erudus as the industry expert.”
Outwrite’s digital director Anthony Bullick said: “We’re passionate about performing for clients, so it’s not just about getting media coverage. It’s helping achieve their overall goal, be it to launch a new product range or grow turnover.
“Erudus is a fantastic company with an eye for further growth in the industry and we’re excited to be on that journey with them.”
