Outwrite narrowly missed out on a top PR award at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West PRide Awards 2016.
The digital PR agency was shortlisted amongst some of the region’s biggest firms in the best use of digital category.
Outwrite’s managing director Tracy North, along with Anthony, Will and Stacey, attended the awards ceremony hoping to go home with their second award win of 2016. It scooped gold at the CIPR Cymru Wales PRide Awards for best integrated campaign.
The awards, held at Manchester’s Midland Hotel, celebrates landmark PR achievements during the past year and presents prestigious awards including outstanding PR consultancy of the year.
Anthony and Will also played an integral part in the awards by taking charge of the CIPR North West’s twitter account for the evening, helping the official hashtag #PRideNW become one of the top trends in Manchester during the evening.
Although the awards were based in the North West, Outwrite helped represent North Wales along with its client Knew Productions, regional sponsor and official video production firm for the event.

Tracy said: “The awards ceremony was a fantastic occasion, giving us the chance to catch up with fellow professionals in the PR industry.
“We didn’t win this time, but were joined on the shortlist by well-respected PR agencies. To have our work recognised alongside theirs speaks volumes of the quality results Outwrite achieves for its clients.
“Most importantly, our award win in Wales and North West nomination demonstrates how successful an integrated PR and SEO approach can be, as we are long time advocates of integrated digital PR.”
Outwrite is an active member of the CIPR, with head of digital Anthony Bullick the only chartered PR practitioner in North Wales and treasurer on the CIPR North West committee.
