Outwrite continues to empower and support PR professionals of the future through expert guidance, hints, and tips.

Anthony Bullick, managing director of Outwrite PR, engaged with students from both the University of Liverpool and Bangor University through guest lectures.

The talks featured examples of the agency’s client work, including campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and creating impactful reports.

They also focused on the skills required for a role in PR and communications and advice on how to get started in the industry.

Anthony, the only chartered PR practitioner in North Wales, said: “I always enjoy heading into universities, colleges, and schools to speak with learners, both currently studying or recently graduated. I know from my own experiences how invaluable these sessions are.

“It’s also interesting to hear their views on the world of PR and communications, talk through recent sector updates, and how the landscape looks moving forward.

“Talking with the workforce of the future often raises interesting and poignant discussion points, and it’s fantastic to spend time with people genuinely interested in the industry.”

Anthony’s visits built on the already close bonds between Outwrite and the universities, with students in Liverpool creating a strategy for a real-life industry client campaign last year.

Learners at both Bangor University and the University of Chester have benefited from multiple guest lectures, whilst the former recently provided a graduate as part of a funded placement.

Linguistics and English literature student Johanna Brandt joined Outwrite for a three-month period, creating social media posts and graphics, editing video footage, and revamping marketing collateral.

Anthony added: “As an agency, we pride ourselves on supporting emerging talent, and it is great when we are afforded the opportunity to enhance the skillsets of the next generation.”

Outwrite’s clients include construction firm Wynne Construction, Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK, Warrington-based Watsons Solicitors, and Xplore! Science Discovery Centre.

The agency specialises in integrated PR, crisis PR, and online reputation management.
