Outwrite PR has completed another year of learning and development, enhancing its expertise through an industry-accredited training scheme.

Managing director Anthony Bullick, senior news and content manager Tom Norris, and account executives Sophia Thomas and Ben Kavanagh all completed the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.

The scheme provides a flexible structure, allowing PR practitioners the opportunity to learn and strengthen their skills while managing a busy workload.

Outwrite’s newest recruit, 23-year-old Ben, has credited the training for helping him settle into his new role at the agency.

Speaking about CIPR CPD, he said: “It has been an incredibly useful resource in helping me further build upon my understanding of public relations and the future of the field.

“I have listened to podcasts, read articles, and completed exercises on topics such as AI and stakeholder communications, providing me with insight into what practitioners are preparing for in the coming years.

“The variety of topics has been a huge benefit, as I can learn about what interests me most, which in turn shapes me as a young professional.”

Fellow account executive Sophia Thomas, who has completed her second 12-month cycle of CIPR’s CPD programme, echoed Ben’s words.

Speaking about her experience, she said: “This training scheme has allowed me to stay updated with key events happening within an ever-changing industry.”

CPD requires participants to log 60 points worth of activities from the 1,800 learning resources available or by completing any external tasks that aid professional development.

For PR practitioners of all skill levels, the programme is an invaluable resource.

After joining Outwrite, senior news and content manager Tom has maintained his annual training, building upon his extensive experience in the field.

He said: “Having access to such a large database of material always comes in handy when working in a profession that spans across a variety of sectors.”

Chartered practitioner and managing director of Outwrite PR, Anthony Bullick has completed his 14th consecutive cycle of CIPR CPD.

He said: “As an agency, we take an active approach to strengthening our capabilities.

“By consolidating existing skills and making new insights as accessible as possible, this scheme ensures our team are always learning and applying the latest knowledge when working with our clients.”

Outwrite’s clients include Wynne Construction, Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK, Warrington-based Watsons Solicitors, and engineering, environmental, and planning consultancy Caulmert.

The agency specialises in integrated PR, crisis PR, online reputation management, and stakeholder communications.
