A PR and digital marketing agency has bolstered its team as it starts the New Year on the front foot.
Mold-based Outwrite has appointed Aaron Haley as PR account executive.
Aaron, 24, joins after spending three years as a journalist with NWN Media working on titles including the North Wales Chronicle and the North Wales Pioneer.
During his time as a journalist he interviewed high-profile figures ranging from coalition leaders David Cameron and Nick Clegg to music stars Tinie Tempah and Ellie Goulding.
Aaron was also appointed as an internet champion and responsible for the online content for the North Wales Pioneer and the Rhyl Journal, in addition to handling the social media accounts.
He said: “Moving into PR is something I have been considering, and joining Outwrite is a fantastic opportunity.
“As a journalist, receiving their work was always a pleasure as I knew it would be well written with no further follow up needed. I’m confident I can continue the high level of work this company produces.”
Founded in 1994, Outwrite has increasingly been complementing its traditional PR methods with digital services. There has also been an internal change with Anthony Bullick moving into the newly created role of PR and social media coordinator as demands for digital continue to grow.
Founder and managing director Tracy North said: “It’s fantastic to get Aaron on board and he has already settled in very well.
“His experience in the online world, as well as the more traditional journalism, at NWN Media ensures he has the knowledge and ability to deal with the rise in digital enquiries we are receiving.
“Digital media is now a vital part of growing a business and we are seeing more and more companies adding digital to their overall marketing mix.”
