Outwrite’s newest recruit has spoken of her joy after landing a six-month paid placement.

Lisa Appleby, 20, from Ruthin, has joined the Mold-based PR and online marketing agency as an administration assistant.

Lisa applied for the vacancy through the Jobs Growth Wales programme, managed by Yale College, and was thrilled to be offered the position.

She said: “I’ve been looking for work over the last few months since leaving education, but the job market is really rough at the minute.

“I was focusing my job hunting on admin roles as this is where my skills lie.

“I was really happy when I got an interview with Outwrite and was completely overjoyed when they offered me the job.”

Lisa joins Outwrite at an exciting point for the agency.

A new website and an updated logo were recently launched to reflect the increased demand for online marketing services such as social media and SEO.

Outwrite’s managing director, Tracy North, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Lisa on board and she has settled in really well in such a short space of time.

“We have been inundated with online content marketing enquiries in addition to the more traditional media relations and PR work we carry out.  The arrival of Lisa will allow us to focus on this burgeoning area of work.”
