A leading digital PR agency has strengthened its PR team to help meet growing demand for its services.

Outwrite PR has welcomed a new account executive, with Calhan Behrendt, 25, joining the Mold-based firm.

Calhan strengthens the award-winning agency’s team with further journalistic experience, previously working for key titles in New South Wales in Australia.

He joins at a time of continued growth for the integrated PR firm, with the position arising following new contract wins.

Cal said: “I have been eager to make the leap over to the world of PR, and Outwrite is one of the best places to do that, given its great reputation for producing high-quality and newsworthy content.

“I am excited to be calling North Wales home and I can’t wait to start telling the stories of our clients.

“Outwrite’s approach to telling a brand’s story in an in-depth manner across a number of platforms really appealed to me and I cannot wait to get stuck in.”

Outwrite’s managing director Anthony Bullick said: “At the end of the day, our success is based on the relationships that we build as well as the quality of the work, and Calhan just ticks all the boxes.”

“He was in a modern-day newsroom where he was not just writing the stories, but he was identifying and taking them on at every aspect, including where there were elements of digital media involved.

“We are winning new clients and the pipeline has never been more full for Outwrite. In my 10 years at the agency I’ve never known it to be like this, so it’s fantastic to bring a new person in at this time.”

The appointment follows news Outwrite has been shortlisted for five PR awards including Integrated PR Agency of the Year at the 2021 PR Moment Awards.

Outwrite’s clients include housing association Grŵp Cynefin, Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK, and specialist residential care provider Meddyg Care.

The agency specialises in integrated PR and SEO (search engine optimisation), crisis PR, online reputation management and social media training.
