From 25th birthday celebrations to new members of staff, 2019 has been an eventful year for everyone at Outwrite HQ.

Our big event to mark 25 years in business saw us host a free PR and marketing conference for charities. Attendees heard from professionals on a range of topics, including broadcast journalism and social media. The feedback was incredible, and the team loved putting this together. Keep your eyes peeled for an encore in 2020!

In addition, we sponsored Mold Alex FC U14s as well as the Health and Social Care Superhero award at Active Cheshire’s everyday superhero awards.

And the Outwrite team got bigger as we welcomed two new members with David and Alice joining the agency. Find out more about them here.

Outwrite also said ‘hello’ to new clients, including Wrexham and Chester air conditioning company ACS Cool, broadening our already diverse list of clients.

Our work was shortlisted for seven industry awards, including best digital and social media campaign (PRCA Awards), best mobile content campaign (UK Content Awards), and best sport campaign (CIPR North West PRide Awards).

On a business front, an aim for us this year was to help brands understand that PR is more than media relations and that communications can support their overall business objectives.

With skills shortages being a top concern for businesses this year, our PR for HR seminars helped tackle recruitment issues for HR professionals and discussed how brands can position themselves as an employer of choice.

Finally, managing director Anthony Bullick began his role as chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in the north west.

Thanks for being a part of Outwrite’s 2019 exciting journey – buckle up for 2020!
