A successful social media and podcasting campaign by a digital PR agency was recognised at the UK-wide Creative Moment awards.
North Wales-based Outwrite PR was shortlisted in the sports and sponsorship category as well as up for best audio content campaign.
The Creative Moment awards, which reward excellence across industry campaigns and exceptional talent, were held in London.
Their campaign Fly, Eagles, Fly, was carried out on behalf of the British Eagles, a UK-based fan group of the Philadelphia Eagles, one of the 32 American football franchises playing in the NFL.
Fly, Eagles, Fly, successfully raised the profile of the British Eagles, as well as positioned the brand to introduce paid membership.
The campaign increased website views ten-fold and improved social media and podcast audience statistics and exceeded membership sales targets.
Outwrite also managed to secure a live interview on Fox 29 Philadelphia TV with the British Eagles founder and were the only brand granted behind-the-scenes access to the official pep rally. They also managed to feature Eagles legend Brent Clerk in the group’s social media content.
Managing director of Outwrite Anthony Bullick said: “For our work to be in the spotlight at a UK-wide creative industry awards illustrates the impact of our work for the British Eagles.
“It’s another example of the power of conducting research at the outset and then feeding the data into the strategy. It truly informs the work we carry out and leads to amazing results for the clients.
Outwrite’s Fly, Eagles, Fly campaign is also shortlisted at the CIPR PRide awards, which are considered the top tier of regional awards in the industry.
Outwrite’s clients include Active Cheshire, Cheshire law firm Watsons Solicitors, and Ruthin-based Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK.
The agency specialises in integrated PR and SEO (search engine optimisation), crisis PR, and social media training.
