Social media crisis communications training and corporate social media training
Would social media training help your brand?
Used correctly, social media can have a big influence on your brand’s awareness and reputation. Every day there are 95m posts to Instagram and 500m tweets, whilst the average Facebook user is exposed to 1,500 posts when they log on.
As well as opportunities for companies, there are also threats. Everyone is a publisher and it’s very easy to have your brand spoken about negatively online – which can impact sales.
Corporate social media training
The digital world is bustling with conversations; to get your messages seen, your content has to stand out. Outwrite offers a number of packages, each of which are tailored specifically to you. They are run on a one-to-one basis and are completely bespoke. We run one-off training courses that can focus on a particular element of your social media plan, for example setting up accounts correctly, Twitter basics and how to use Facebook Page Insights.
We also provide ongoing support and training to monitor your activity over a set period of time. This typically involves a training session at the outset, followed by five telephone conversations over a three-month period. We will provide actionable feedback and a list of points for you to implement as part of your strategy going forward.
All of our social media courses are customisable to suit you. If you want more, or less, meetings over a longer, or shorter, period of time, that’s fine.
Social media crisis training
As an award-winning online reputation management agency, we are perfectly placed to deliver training that helps your in-house team navigate their way through issues.
In some instances, responses and communication online from a brand can escalate the situation further, which leads to media coverage and increased exposure across social media.
From planning and preparation to scenario exercises and real-time support, we will ensure your digital communications protects your brand’s reputation when it needs it the most.
Our social media crisis communications training is completely bespoke to you. We can run as many sessions as your team needs, as well as tailor the content to suit your requirements e.g. focus on specific social media platforms or possible scenarios. In addition, talk to us about remote scenario exercises where we put delegates through their paces without any notice.
Watch: Social media training at NatWest/Royal Bank of Scotland
Our managing director Anthony Bullick visited the North Wales offices of one of the UK’s largest banks to deliver a bespoke social media training session.
The training brought together 10 SME businesses that were looking to improve social media performance to boost sales, new business enquiries or to promote their brand. At the end of the session, the businesses were given three steps to act on their social media marketing; creating a content calendar, connecting with Outwrite for regular news and tips on social media and to study their own social media analytics.
