HR professionals and business owners are set to benefit from a free webinar about employer brand reputation during and after COVID-19.

Hosted by a leading PR agency and recruitment advertising company, the event will help delegates understand how effective internal communication can reduce the risk of reputational damage to a business.

North Wales based-Outwrite PR and JVP Group will also discuss how it can prevent an impact on operations when you come out of a crisis, such as recruiting and retaining workers.

A recent study showed only 18 per cent of employers were communicating with staff on an at least daily basis, despite 54 per cent of employees wanting updates everyday about the coronavirus.

Attendees will hear from Anthony Bullick, managing director of Outwrite PR and Cath Harrison, managing director of JVP Group.

They will share advice on how to make a positive impact through internal communication in a crisis, assessing your digital footprint and how to strengthen your employer brand for the future. There will also be a Q&A session at the end.

The hour-long webinar starts at 10am on Thursday 11 June. It follows the duo’s successful recruitment seminars in late 2019, held in the north west and North Wales.

Anthony from Outwrite PR said: “Organisations have shown their true colours in terms of how they treat their employees and other key personnel during COVID-19.

“There is a danger that those businesses who have not treated their staff fairly or communicated properly during the pandemic will be viewed in a negative light.

“The crisis has given employers an opportunity to place employee relations at the heart of their business and those who have should not struggle with attracting talent to their organisation and retaining them if they communicate it.

“The main takeaway for participants will be actionable steps brands can put in place during and post-COVID-19 with tips on internal communication and strengthening your employer brand for the future.”

Cath from JVP Group added: “HR professionals and business leaders will be working together to keep things going and protect as many jobs as they can. Actions taken during this time of crisis will undoubtedly impact employer brands which could lead to retention and recruitment problems.

“This webinar will equip you in attracting the best talent in the long-run, not just post-coronavirus.”
