An Outwrite employee has been rewarded for hitting the ground running since joining the firm, with a promotion to senior account executive.

Calhan Behrendt joined the award-winning PR agency in April and his work and positive attitude have not gone unnoticed by colleagues, clients, and suppliers, with exceptional results achieved across multiple client accounts.

Cal, who previously worked for key journalism titles in New South Wales in Australia, has enjoyed getting his teeth into digital PR in particular.

He said: “The media relations work for clients came naturally to me, and I’ve been excited to build further on my digital storytelling skills over the last few months.

“Being able to work with businesses on other channels such as paid social media, podcasting, and video has been fantastic, and seeing the results from that work first-hand is brilliant.

“We have a great team at Outwrite, and I’m thrilled with the promotion as it shows I’m a valued piece of the puzzle.

“There are some exciting campaigns we are working on and I’m eager to play a role in their delivery.”

Cal has worked on accounts including one of the UK’s largest rural broadband specialists Voneus, dementia specialist care home group Meddyg Care, Bangor University, and Flintshire County Council.

Outwrite PR managing director Anthony Bullick said: “Cal has impressed from day one, and this news probably doesn’t come as a surprise to many.

“He thoroughly deserves the promotion, and I’m looking forward to seeing him progress further.”

Outwrite, which was named small PR agency of the year at the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Cymru Wales Dare Awards earlier this year, counts Wynne Construction and Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK among its clients.

The agency specialises in integrated PR and communications, crisis PRonline reputation management and social media training.
