A Mold-based PR firm will be preparing to defend its title as the best small agency in Wales after being shortlisted for a pair of industry awards.

Outwrite PR has been nominated for the Small PR Consultancy of the Year as well as the Arts, Culture or Sport Campaign accolade at the 2023 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Cymru Wales awards.

The organisation previously won the agency award at the 2022 event and will be aiming to secure the trophy for the second straight year.

Outwrite has also been nominated for its project with rural broadband provider Voneus which aimed to increase brand awareness of the Voneus Village Cup.

The event, which is the UK’s largest knockout cricketing tournament, achieved a combined reach of 7.3 million across 16 counties as well as coverage on BBC Radio Gloucestershire, cricketing podcast ‘Tailenders’, and the Bristol Post during 2022.

Anthony Bullick, managing director at Outwrite PR, said: “It’s an honour to be acknowledged for our significant achievements over the last 12 months at both an agency and campaign level.

“Working again with Voneus was a boost to the entire team, and to see the creative campaign’s success acknowledged by a respected industry body through this nomination is pleasing.

“Additionally, seeing 370 sides take part in 2023 in what is the highest number of teams in more than a decade really helped showcased the effectiveness of our work.

“We hope to continue our outstanding performance throughout the year and eagerly await the results!”

Winners will be announced in Cardiff on November 23 at the CIPR Cymru PRide awards.

The nominations continue a strong year for the agency, which won its third straight small PR consultancy of the year award at the PRCA DARE Cymru event in June.

Since the start of 2022, Outwrite has won five industry awards and been nominated for a further 15.

Outwrite’s clients include construction firm Wynne Construction, Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK, Warrington-based Watsons Solicitors, and mechanical and electrical (M+E) contractor Ash Integrated Services.

The agency specialises in integrated PR, crisis PR and online reputation management.
