A Mold-based PR agency is celebrating after it struck gold once again at the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Cymru awards.

Outwrite PR won small PR consultancy of the year for the third time in succession at a celebration of the country’s talented communications professionals.

The company showcased its growth, after achieving its highest turnover in eight years and exceeding its target of having 90 per cent of clients on a retainer.

The agency also highlighted how it regularly invests in its employees, ensuring a variation of training opportunities and staff benefits are on offer, as well as involving the entire team in the business’ direction through quarterly meetings.

In addition, it shared its passion for supporting the third sector, including its annual PR and marketing conference, which is aimed at helping charities navigate their communications strategies.

Anthony Bullick, managing director at Outwrite PR, said: “Taking home the small PR consultancy of the year award for the third time is a huge accomplishment for every team member, as ultimately, it’s them who have made it possible to reach the goals we’ve set.

“To consistently receive that level of recognition from a well-revered industry body such as the PRCA is fantastic.

“It’s provided confirmation that our relationships with clients and positive working environment are driving us in the right direction.”

This latest win is one of eight sector awards that Outwrite has either secured or been shortlisted for across the past 12 months, including scooping best small PR agency with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Cymru Wales.

Anthony, who saw his firm’s work with rural broadband provider, Voneus, shortlisted for low budget campaign of the year at the PRCA Cymru awards, added: “The first six months of 2023 have been fantastic for. We’ve continued to add to our client roster as well as grow specific areas of the business such as producing ESG reports.

“We have also been invited to speak at a range of Welsh business events including Net Zero North Wales and PR webinars with the CIPR, providing our perspective on topics such as sustainability communications and avoiding greenwashing.

“Inspiring employees to be curious and hone their expertise with continuous professional development is another key aspect of the business and will always be a priority.

“I’m eager to see what the rest of 2023 will look like for the agency. One thing I am confident about is that we’ll carry on going from strength to strength.”
