A leading PR agency and recruitment advertising company are joining forces to help businesses battle the skills gap by holding free interactive sessions on how to improve recruitment marketing and public relations.
Outwrite PR and JVP Group, both recipients of multiple industry awards, are inviting HR professionals and business owners across North Wales and Cheshire to discuss and share ideas on how to transform talent attraction strategies through effective promotion of employer brands.
Statistics indicate that a strong employer brand attracts better applicants, decreases the time to hire, and reduces the cost per hire.
In addition, the work done around a brand can significantly improve staff retention.
Attendees at the free events will hear from speakers including Anthony Bullick, managing director of Outwrite PR and Cath Harrison managing director of JVP Group.
The Cheshire event will be held at Oddfellows Chester, on Tuesday 24 September.
The North Wales event will be held at New Vision Business Park, St Asaph, on Wednesday 25 September.
The seminars, which both run from 8am to 10.30am, will also include networking time as well as a panel Q&A session to ask any questions relating to recruitment and PR strategies.
Anthony said: “Recruitment, and specifically for certain skills, is a hot topic for many businesses. Carrying out a structured PR campaign with the right social media and marketing communications can position your company as the one to work for and this event is a great opportunity to find out more on how to do just that.”
Cath added: “This event will provide advice on effective talent attraction in a digital world and how best to overhaul or refresh recruitment strategies to ensure businesses attract the very best talent and in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.”
