The managing director of a sustainability PR agency has discussed the impact and future of environmental, social and governance (ESG) for brands in the latest issue of a key business publication.
Anthony Bullick of Outwrite PR, which has a strong record in green, renewable and sustainability communications, was quoted in Wales Business Insider.
The magazine explored the impact of ESG playing more of a high-profile role in the way companies present themselves.
The double-page feature covered key questions including:
- What does ESG mean?
- Why does it matter?
- How do you achieve environmental, social and governance goals?
- Who can verify that ESG goals are met?
- What are the challenges and how can they be overcome?
Anthony, who writes a five-weekly column for the Daily Post and recently covered a series of expert commentary pieces on the topic, including ESG reports, said: “ESG was once only discussed by investors, but now it’s moving up company agendas for all organisations.
“There’s no escaping the elements that make up ESG and the impact they can have on business operations.
“For example, in a time when skills are in high demand, current and prospective employees are influenced by your ESG-related activity: communicating it effectively can prove invaluable in retaining and attracting a strong workforce.”
Anthony added: “This feature aligned perfectly with our passion for educating brands and inspiring their ESG efforts.”
