A Mold-based PR agency account executive is celebrating her one-year anniversary.

Alexia Jones joined Outwrite PR in August 2021, shortly after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in media communication and cultural studies.

During her first year at the agency, Alexia has hit the ground running, bringing a fresh perspective to the company. From pitching to broadcast media, to creating engaging social media content and organising team socials, no two days are the same for Alexia.

Experiencing a well-rounded start to her PR career, she has worked on a range of clients and sectors, from financial services to construction.

She said: “I’ve learnt so much about the world of PR during my first year at Outwrite and have had the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team.

“It’s incredibly motivating to be a part of a business that has a keen focus on giving back to the community too. We provide free PR advice to local organisations and charities through our annual PR and marketing conference and actively engage in community events here in Mold.

“Outwrite fosters a creative and collaborative environment, where every team member has a part to play in driving the agency forward. It’s truly been a fantastic first step on the career ladder for me.

“Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in all the different elements that make up a client campaign, which not only keeps every day exciting, but in turn has accelerated my professional development.

“I’ve enjoyed being a part of Outwrite’s successes, including new business wins, awards and seeing the team grow.

“I look forward to seeing what the next year brings.”

During Alexia’s first year, Outwrite won small PR consultancy of the year for the second time at the PRCA Cymru awards and has been shortlisted for multiple categories at the CIPR Cymru awards with winners to be announced in October.

Anthony Bullick, managing director at Outwrite, said: “Alexia’s degree in media and communications was a strong foundation for pursuing a career in PR and it has shone through in her work at Outwrite.

“I’ve seen Alexia’s PR skills really flourish over the past 12 months and I’m looking forward to seeing what the next year holds for her.”
