A Mold-based digital PR agency has been shortlisted twice at a regional industry awards.

Outwrite PR is nominated in two categories at the Northern Digital Awards, held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on Wednesday 31 January 2018.

The awards, which are in their fourth year of running, celebrate the best digital marketing campaigns produced by creative agencies in the North of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The digital agency’s video-based Facebook campaign for Jones Bros Civil Engineering is up for best use of video alongside brands including Chester Zoo.

The campaign, launched as part of a recruitment drive at Jones Bros, was viewed more than 17,000 times on social media, helping boost awareness of career opportunities at the expanding firm.

It resulted in an increase of high quality applications apprenticeships received by the civil engineering business.

And the recruitment strategy is also shortlisted for best low budget campaign, putting it in competition with national campaigns for charities and a major fashion brand.

The shortlistings come at the end of a successful year for Outwrite, in which it has been nominated for 12 industry awards.

The agency celebrated a double success at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide awards, winning gold for best reputational management campaign in the North West and silver in the best science, technology, engineering and maths category in Wales.

Outwrite’s managing director Tracy North said: “2017 has been a record breaking year of nominations for the agency, so we’re excited to see what 2018 will bring starting with the Northern Digital Awards.

“Our campaign for Jones Bros is already award winning and was also shortlisted at a UK-wide social media awards.

“The campaign was successful because our team, which is made up of qualified journalists, created a clear message which stayed the same in print, video and social media content.

“We are all about producing results for clients and this campaign achieved that.”

Outwrite’s clients include food buying group Fairway Foodservice, logistics company Ningbo Palletised Distribution, Chester-based PJM Flooring Services, and Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK.
