PR and Digital Marketing Assistant
Born and bred in Connah’s Quay, Will joined Outwrite in the summer of 2015 following the completion of a marketing internship at a Chester-based law firm.
Joining as a PR and digital marketing assistant, he will be supporting our account executives with client work, as well as being heavily involved with the promotion of Outwrite.
His role at the law firm, which also has offices in Manchester and Shrewsbury, included creating and scheduling social media content, organising the monthly e-newsletter, and editing press releases ready for issue to the media.
Will also spent time at Wrexham-based community radio station Calon FM where he provided technical support for the breakfast show, as well as hosting his own magazine-style radio show.
In his spare time, Will drafts content for gap Connah’s Quay Nomads FC, who ply their trade in the Welsh Premier League, as well as managing their social media accounts on match day.
Will has taken on a leading role wherever he has been and was sixth form ambassador at Mold Alun as well as the head communicator at the sixth form’s Student’s Union. In addition, he spoke at the Deeside Business Conference in 2013, and was a managing director in the Connah’s Quay Young Enterprise Challenge in the same year.
He has also been a member of the Young Everyman Stage School in Liverpool since 2011 and performed in the show Until They Kick Us Out.
