A digital PR agency has been shortlisted for two industry gongs at the Northern Marketing Awards 2017.
Mold-based Outwrite PR, which was amongst a record number of entries for this year’s awards, has been nominated in two categories.
The awards, which take place on November 1 at the Manchester Hilton hotel, celebrate the best of the North West, Scottish and Northern Irish creative industries.
Outwrite’s work with Fairway Foodservice, a food wholesale buying group based in Huddersfield, is up for best food and drink campaign, alongside brands including IRN BRU and Wall’s.
The campaign promoted Fairway Foodservice to prospective new members.
Outwrite worked with specialist wholesale trade media to raise awareness of the benefits of the Fairway brand, which is made up of 27 wholesale companies from across the UK and Spain.
Its campaign helped influence three new memberships for the group.
Outwrite is also in with a chance of winning best social media campaign after devising a Facebook-based recruitment drive for Jones Bros Civil Engineering.
Its video-based campaign was viewed more than 17,000 times on social media, helping boost awareness of career opportunities at the expanding firm.
Tracy North, Outwrite’s managing director, said: “Our experienced journalists have the creativity and skills to produce winning content for businesses across many different sectors.
“The landscape of PR has changed since we started up as a media relations agency in 1994. Outwrite has evolved into a full digital agency. We continue to enjoy strong relationships with the media and this helps us deliver outstanding campaigns.”
Richard Ellison, marketing manager at Fairway Foodservice said: “Outwrite exceeded our expectations with the campaign so it comes as no surprise to Fairway that it is on the shortlist.
“The team regularly speaks to our members and attends our events, in addition to staying in contact with the trade media to identify opportunities for the group.”
Outwrite’s clients include the Wales Air Ambulance, Wynne Construction, Mold-based chemicals firm Synthite, and engineering, planning and environmental specialists Caulmert.
The digital PR agency specialises in PR, social media and SEO (search engine optimisation).
