A North Wales-based digital director at a PR and content marketing agency has been shortlisted for a national business award.
Anthony Bullick, digital director at Outwrite PR, is up for young director of the year at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Wales awards.
The digital expert and chartered PR practitioner is up against three other young directors for the award, which recognises the success and achievements of directors under 42 years old.
The ceremony takes place at SSE SWALEC in Cardiff on 19 May.
Anthony joined Outwrite in 2012 in a junior position and became a director and shareholder at the digital PR agency last year.
He combines his role at Outwrite with active work in the PR industry as a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West committee, commentator in the Daily Post and Wales Business Insider, and speaker at events in Wales, Chester and Manchester.
He was also shortlisted for best young business leader at the inaugural Insider Wales North Wales Business Leaders awards.
Anthony said: “I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for this prestigious business award.
“Although this is an individual award shortlist, I work with amazing people at Outwrite and this demonstrates the strength of the entire team.
“The ceremony is sure to be a fantastic event, which will celebrate the best leaders across Wales.”
Outwrite was founded in 1994 and specialises in PR, social media marketing and SEO (search engine optimisation).
Traditionally a media relations firm, Outwrite’s skillset, combined with the increasing benefits of PR to online marketing such as SEO, has resulted in an increase in businesses requesting an integrated approach to their profile-raising and reputation-management.
