Our team members have formerly worked as news reporters, feature writers and sub-editors in the media. Writing was an essential part of our journalistic training.

Proofreading is the checking of a document after completion and, as journalists with a keen eye for detail, we are experts at it!

The process involves

Identifying and correcting grammatical and spelling mistakes
Reviewing the document for comprehension: does the argument flow? Is there enough evidence to support what you’re saying? Overall, does it make sense?

We carry out editing and proofreading of all types of copy, whether a report, letter or copy you may have generated for your website or brochure.

We also check through the document to identify whether the same can be said in fewer words.

Every single word is made to work: it must add to the content or it will be deleted. We also check for style and consistency. For example, do all your bullet points end with a full stop? Or do they all end without one? We work very quickly whilst maintaining accuracy.
