Non-members invited to Institute of Directors (IoD) networking event


All-comers are welcome to a presentation by University of Wales Professor of Entrepreneurship Brian Morgan at a North Wales branch of the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) business networking lunch.

University of Wales Professor of Entrepreneurship Brian Morgan will be the speaker at the North Wales branch of the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) business networking lunch on Friday 26 June.
Non-members will be welcome to attend the North Wales networking event, at Bodysgallen Hall, Llandudno.
Prof Morgan, who is a director of a several businesses including Brecon Carreg Mineral Water and Penderyn Malt Whisky, will speak on the subject: “Responding to the Global Recession: The Role of Leadership and Entrepreneurship.”
Future events will include breakfast briefing meetings with Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones, an employment law seminar and Christmas lunch.
North Wales IoD branch chairman Steve Donnelly, operations director of SCS Group, Corwen, said: “Prof Morgan is going to provide an up-to-the-minute analysis about how businesses in North Wales can use leadership and entrepreneurship to minimise the impact of the recession.”
The event will start at 12 noon and finish by 3pm. Tickets cost £35 for non-members, £30 for members or £275 for a table of ten. The price includes includes a drinks reception and three-course lunch.
