New development offers first time Rochdale buyers important springboard onto the property ladder

Leading north west developer Seddon Homes has unveiled major plans for a new development of two, three and four bedroom homes close to the heart of Rochdale.
Work has now begun on building 90 new homes on land off Bridgfold Lane, with the first properties due for completion by June this year.
Potential buyers looking to secure a property are being offered a helping hand. Seddon Homes offers a range of initiatives to help potential buyers and these include its ‘Springboard’ scheme, offering potential buyers the chance to own the full 100 per cent of their home, while only paying 85 per cent of the market price.
The remaining 15 percent will be financed by a ten-year interest-free loan.
In addition buyers will only have to provide a deposit of five per cent of the price, much less than the 15% usually required in these instances.
Springboard will be available on selected properties at Bridgfold and Seddon Homes sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, is confident that interest will be keen: “We are very excited about our new development in Rochdale as we are building a variety of new homes to suit a range of potential buyers.
“The properties will be sensibly priced and are extremely high-quality, representing terrific value for money. The homes will be stylish, with full modern facilities, light and spacious and structurally built to a good specification, including stylish kitchens and bathrooms.
“This, coupled with the assistance we can provide in purchasing a property makes it a very attractive proposition.”
Kitchens include a smart range of modern units, wall cabinets and work surfaces with stainless steel oven and hob. Stylish white family bathrooms include chrome fittings, while additional ensuite facilties in master bedrooms feature glazed shower cubicles.
Seddon Homes is a firmly established company, with more than 100 years of house building innovation. The company has a track record of building new homes across Greater Manchester including Bolton, Middleton, Salford and Stretford.
The Bridgfold development is being built on the site of a former tramway depot and Spotland Bridge dye works. Details of prices will be available from February and, in the meantime, potential buyers can register their interest and find out more by visiting www.seddonhomes.co.uk or calling 0845 456 9667.
